Lucayan Technology LLC is hiring multiple Access Control Personnel to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD), Code 105, Security Division. NSWCPD is responsible for research, development, testing, and fleet support for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles. This is an unarmed, flexible position with opportunities to pick up additional shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to NSWCPD premises, ensuring personnel and property security.
  • Screen and authorize entry for employees, visitors, and guests.
  • Enforce access control policies and procedures.
  • Maintain surveillance via security cameras and alarm systems.
  • Respond to security breaches, incidents, and emergencies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain logs and prepare reports on daily activities and security incidents.
  • Conduct inspections to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance.
  • Certifications: First Aid/CPR certification required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior experience in access control, security, or related field preferred.
  • Skills: Strong observational abilities, problem-solving, communication, and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Desired Experience:
  • Experience in access control or security roles preferred.
  • Familiarity with surveillance systems and security equipment.
  • Knowledge of emergency response and evacuation procedures.
