Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC is hiring a Program Security Professional to support operations at  Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO. This role provides critical support to classified networks within Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environments, contributing to U.S. national defense operations. The position is full-time, supporting the Department of Defense and ensuring IT system integrity, security, and compliance with federal cybersecurity directives.
 

Job Responsibilities:

-Miscellaneous Administrative Support: Perform various administrative support functions related to Delta 7’s Personnel Security Program. 

   - Correspondence Review: Support reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence at the SCI & SAP level. 

   - Document and Media Accountability: Maintain a document and magnetic media accountability database and associated correspondence. 

   - Destruction of Classified Materials: Coordinate the destruction of non-shreddable classified materials. 

   - Data Transfers: Conduct reviews of data transfers between classified networks (both low-to-high and high-to-low) with Government oversight. 

   - Visit Requests: Research, process, file, and maintain inbound and outbound visit requests. 

   - Visitor Escort: Escort facility visitors, maintain associated logs, prepare facility access control badges, conduct entry and exit inspections, and maintain facility access control systems. 

   - Data Entry: Perform data entry to the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Joint Access Database Environment (JADE) databases, maintaining customer-sponsored billets and quota information. 

   - Personnel Security Files: Maintain personnel security files for all Delta 7 staff, in-process new personnel, out-process departing personnel, and update rosters. 

   - Security Awareness and Education: Support the security awareness and education programs, including providing training. 

   - Special Access Program Training: Support the SAP training program, including initial SAP training, annual training, and tracking training status. 

   - Security Clearance Processing: Review, track, and monitor security clearance processing activities with appropriate government personnel. 

   - Program Access Requests: Prepare, process, and review Program Access Requests (PARs) for accuracy and eligibility. 

   - Personnel Access Information: Maintain all customer-sponsored personnel access information, perform indoctrinations/debriefings, and advise the security team members. 

   - Foreign Travel Tracking: Facilitate procedures to track and report personal and professional foreign travel for Delta 7 personnel. 

   - Compliance Inspections: Participate in SAP and SCIF security compliance inspections and assist with preparations for these inspections. 

 

Essential Qualifications:

     - A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in security within a multilevel Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) classified environment. 

     - The most recent experience (within the past three (3) of the five (5) years) should involve performing multi-disciplined security in SAP programs. 

     - Must have an understanding of the difference between SCI and SAP and the associated classification requirements. 

     - Knowledge of applicable security standards and requirements for SCI and SAP, including Department of Defense Directives (DoDDs), Manuals (DoDMs), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), the DoD Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG), and the Risk Management Framework (RMF), among others. 

     - Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
