Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC is hiring an Information Technology Support Specialist to assist with the Frivolous Return Program (FRP). This role is responsible for converting paper documents into electronic form and supporting project efforts related to document digitization and data quality. The position includes onboarding orientation tasks and long-term technical support to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with process improvements and operational requirements. This is a full-time position that is contingent on contract award.


Job Responsibilities:

Information Technology Support Duties:

  • Provide on-site and/or off-site analytical IT support using provided systems, tools, and datasets.
  • Participate in meetings and training to learn the full FRP document lifecycle process, including:
    • Batching/sorting, scanning, document prep, transformation, validation, and disposition.
  • Operate industrial-grade scanners to digitize large volumes of paper documents.
  • Perform file manipulations, transshipments, and uploads to the AI platform.
  • Conduct initial and secondary quality checks to verify data integrity and validate proper determinations.
  • Disseminate paper documents based on classification outcomes.
  • Update project statuses and maintain detailed progress metrics.
  • Ensure timely system access approvals and adhere to all IT security protocols.
  • Remain adaptable to procedural or system changes to maintain efficiency.
  • Support swing-shift operations to maximize scanner availability and project throughput.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation and system access.
  • Experience:
    • Experience in document digitization, data quality, or records management in a professional environment.
    • Familiarity with industrial scanners or large-scale digital conversion processes.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in file manipulation, scanning equipment, and digital asset handling.
    • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.
    • Ability to learn and follow structured processes in a fast-paced environment.
    • Comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a government-supported team.

Desired Experience:

  • Prior support of a government records or data transformation program.
  • Experience working in environments requiring high data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with AI platform tools, data governance, and document tracking systems.
